Plants 2-3 feet (70-80 cm.) tall. Lateral branches all produce numerous flowers and five to six flowers grow in clusters on top of the plants. Strong stems and highly productive and at least 15 high quality cutflowers can be cut per plant. Perhaps the worlds first F1 Hybrid Godetia ever offered. A cool temperature loving plant which should be grown at 60-65 °F. (15-18 °C.) during daytime and 50 °F. (10 °C.) at night. Daytime temperatures should not exceed 75 °F. (25 °C.) Suitable for both autumn and early spring flowering. Sow seeds in seedling flats or plug trays and cover seed very thinly. After germination thin out or transplant into growing flats, spacing 1 inch (2.5 cm.) apart both ways. If possible, select a sunny location with well-drained sandy soil, although special soil is not required. When 7-8 true leaves appear transplant seedlings carefully to avoid root damage, spacing each plant 8-12 inches (20-30 cm.) apart and before planting into permanent location, top pinch for production of high quality cutflowers. Excessive fertilizers result in poor quality cutflowers. Use nets for support when plants are about 1.5 feet (50 cm.) tall. Spray for Aphids, Whiteflies and Thrips. Cut when 30-40% of buds on top stems open. All buds will flower in vase after cutting. This series was originally developed for autumn cutflower use, but also useful as bedding plants. Seeds sown from December to February will produce beautiful cutflowers in May/June when plants are about 16-20 inches (40-50 cm.) tall in the garden.
